A group of young, passionate millennials joined the Sport Integrity Global Alliance (SIGA) at the Mediacom headquarters last week for the third edition of the Millennials Matter podcast. The podcast series is playing a key role in helping instigate a new culture within the sports industry, where integrity comes first.

The latest podcast, moderated by SIGA Coordinator Emanuel Macedo de Medeiros, marked the United Nations’ International Anti-Corruption Day, highlighting how corruption can undermine social and economic development in all societies. As corruption continues to manifest its pernicious effects, tainting institutions and eroding integrity in a number of industries, it is vital to engage tomorrow’s leaders in today’s discussion.

The following group of participants assembled to debate ways to help restore trust in sport and combat corruption in sport:

  • Dexter Tate, Mediacom
  • Jade Benson, Mediacom
  • Sha Rasti, Mediacom
  • Katie Simmonds, SIGA
  • Agata Olko, ICSS INSIGHT
  • John Goodyear, Pivot Sport
  • David Green, JTA
  • Ricardo de Paula, Birkbeck

A number of young millennials will present a Sport Integrity Manifesto during the upcoming SIGA Sport Integrity Forum on 30 January 2018 in the city of Rome.  Click here for more information.
